I think it’s brilliant. This time the attendees have been far more superior and better quality than we have seen in the past. Quality resources from each company. We had multiple fruitful meeting with our customers, new customers as well. It’s been a very informative session too. The takeaway has been good meaningful deals for us. We have met close to 20-25 customers, we have met our customers after 2 yrs and it has been a jam-packed 2 days session. Definitely, very good event. has provided what we are looking for. All companies are coming from all around the world and I am happy to see CFOs, CEOs, high level C-suite executives which means this event helped us meet everyone here. The Kingdom is trying to become a hub, and trade finance is the most important element to secure the shipment from all over the world. Before I knew two banks offering solutions, after coming here I am seeing 8 or 9 banks offering better solutions than what we received earlier.
After having so many digital events it’s amazing to be back in person and network with our colleagues in the industry. Great energy, very well attended and some really great presentations and learnings from the events! Two thumbs-up. Very high quality of attendees, but also very diverse mix – governments, corporates, banks, fintechs. It was very well balanced, we’d the opportunity to learn from different colleagues from the industry. Very well attended.
It’s my first time and I wasn’t expecting such attendance and diversity and the quality of the subject being discussed, I’ve met different attendees in the event which was really amazing, it’s been very active two days, its very good to see this happening in the KSA. The difference between STF 2021 and other events is that there were lot of corporates and banks present here. Lot of corporates are showing much interest in the products offered by banks, about the innovations and they want to know more. The attendance to every session was very high, so overall very interesting. We met so many potential clients as well as existing clients.
It was a great event especially after the lockdown, it’s great to be out meeting people in person. It’s our first time at the event. We really had great participation. We are overwhelmed by what we saw. It’s our target audience here as we are into supply chain financing. Most of them are CFOs or Treasury heads, very difficult to get so many CFOs under one room which you guys did very well and that works for us perfectly. We ended up partnering with two banks, and we have generated 3 times more leads than what we thought we would. I don’t think there’s another event in the Kingdom which comes close to this where you have so many CFOs, treasurers and trade finance people interested.
It’s overwhelming. It’s a great event, I met specialists from the private-, public- and financial sectors, who have expressed their interests. Today, during the summit we have signed more than USD 118M of facilities to banks in Saudi Arabia and in the region. The quality of the event is extremely high - we have met CEOs, Chairmen of banks and private sector companies, also we discussed how we can enable them to do more trade with Saudi Arabia and utilize the tools available by the public and private sectors including the financial institutions.”
